Red Butte Garden in the Spring

I got married at Red Butte Garden in Salt Lake City last September. I love this garden. I think it is one of the most beautiful places in Salt Lake and I think it was the best place for a wedding. The gardens are beautiful all year round, they have a beautiful building for receptions and the Garden staff are wonderful - nice, helpful and very experienced in supporting weddings. In addition to being a wonderful spot for weddings, Red Butte Garden is simply a beautiful place to visit any time. The gardens are open all year round. They have paths to walk on, plants and flowers to see, birds and animals to spot and they have a number of educational programs. They also have an outdoor summer concert series that is really good. I just bought tickets to see Fleet Foxes and k.d. lang. Check out their official website for more information.

Friday we went to visit the gardens as we hadn't been there since the winter. I had never seen the gardens in the Spring as we just moved here last May. It was a glorious day and the flowers and the sky were amazing and I wanted to share a few images to give you a feel for what we experienced at that moment on the Byway.
