Last Week on My Scenic Byway: Jan 31 - February 6

OUTSIDE
Scenes:  Snow. Cold. The gym. BYU Museum of Art. Work, oh crazy work. Hanging out in downtown Salt Lake City.
Ingesting: wine oh sweet wine...you are why I go to the gym. lots of good home cooking. NPR podcasts - This American Life and Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me save me at the gym when my work out mix gets tired. Watching old early 90s movies including Groundhog Day (on Groundhog Day) and Ghost. Sushi. The King's Speech - I really, really liked it, and so much more than I thought I would. Catfish (the movie, not the food) - amazing film.
Loving: thefuntheory.comthe top five viral videos of January according to Time. Breaking Bad. OMG. Amazing. Shocking. Intense. I watched the first two episodes and was jumping out of my chair and then dreamt about it all night. It is in its 3rd season now - how could I have missed this until now? If you have not seen this, you must. It is amazing. I love Geoffrey Rush - just love him. Born This Way - i love looking at old photos and i love reading short stories about people and their experiences, and this is a beautiful site for that. Powerful, beautiful stuff. "I don't have any patience for the glamorization of dumbness." - Aaron Sorkin referring to Sarah Palin.
