New Design
I just changed my blog design. Do you like it better like this, or do you prefer the old way? This one seems more streamlined, but a little dull. The old one was good in that the background image relates to the topic of the blog, but I worried it was all too cluttered. Please tell me what you think, because I can always change it back. I appreciate your feedback. Thanks!

First, I want to say I am amazed at how disciplined you are at blogging. I could never write this often. But keep it up! I'm enjoying it. And you're really making we want to get out west.
ReplyDeleteOn your blog design, I have to agree with you on both points. The first design was too much, this seems to be too bland. So I'd say (from personal experience), live with it for a little and look around at other blogs. I think there are some great templates out there for a blog like yours, with a bit more character (like you ;).

H thank you for your kind words and encouragement! I am happy that you are reading and happy that you are enjoying. I only have 10 followers and hope to grow that. I do know from the stats that many more people are reading than are followers - most read but have not signed on as followers - and that some I think are reading very regularly, which is encouraging. i will keep playing around with the design. still learning how to break away from the templates they give you and to be more creative. by the way, i have the time to blog because i work from home and not always 40 hours a week. it helps big time.
